This three-day training workshop consists of a series of hands-on exercises that help participants configure advanced features of the Milestone XProtect Corporate VMS to address realistic scenarios.
Key topics:
Clustering and Failover: Implement a clustered environment for Milestone products, as well as Failover for the recording server
Edge Storage: Learn how to setup and maintain edge storage with selected Milestone products
SQL Migration: Practice SQL management, migration, and maintenance.
Milestone Federated Architecture (MFA): Create a federated architecture where multiple sites are managed remotely
Event Proxy: Learn how to use this Milestone add-on for situations where double verification (if/and/or/but) of an alarm or event is necessary
Scripting/Creating Batch Files: Understand how to write/modify batch files in order to automate Smart Client behavior
Note:
Attending a workshop does not guarantee a certification (MCIE).
Prerequisites:
Valid Milestone Certified Integration Technician (MCIT) or Advanced certification.
Milestone Solution Design Training NEW!
This NEW two-day class will build your knowledge and skills on designing solutions for Milestone’s Advanced products – XProtect Expert and Corporate. Using the Milestone Solution Design Model, attendee’s will focus on surveillance system design across several vertical markets.
Successful students will also leave prepared to complete the Milestone Certified Design Engineer (MCDE) online exam.

Milestone Professional – fee is USD 595.00, and includes software XProtect professional + 4 device licenses. The SW that you will receive, is re-sellable – it will be sent to you in a link and you will be able to download/use it for some of your project. Link will be valid for 2 years. One-day training; certification is on paper at the end of the training day. Professional training is highly recommended for all new partners or people with no previous Milestone certification, even expired.
Milestone Technical level 1 (TL1), a three-day class that consists of a series of hands-on exercises that build on each other to configure the XProtect Corporate VMS to specifications from realistic scenarios. Trainer led class – fee is USD 1595.00 and the respective online certification is Milestone Certified Integration Technician (MCIT) – fee is USD 150.00. Certification is achieved after successful online test. Test can be taken at any time (no deadline).
