Paxton announces its building intelligence system, net10, is now available. Bringing the company’s 30 years of experience in the security industry into the building management sector, Paxton says net10 delivers out of the box access control, IP video management and building automation.

net10 is suitable for projects of all sizes. Its launch marks a venture in a new sector for Paxton and comes in response to the evolving landscape in the security industry.

net10 harnesses the connectivity and sharing of information between different technologies and devices to streamline the management of buildings within one system, according to the company. With the use of conventional RFID tokens or Bluetooth SMART devices, the system allows specific permissions to individuals and groups of people, such as gaining access to a building using a mobile phone, automatically turning on/off the alarm and controlling heating and air conditioning.

net10 works in conjunction with all types of IP cameras in order to facilitiate live viewing and the recording of video surveillance footage on the edge. It also provides building automation, interfacing with existing infrastructure for control over lighting, heating, air conditioning, intruder and fire alarms. The system is managed using a web interface.
